Sizzle's Kitchen
Karen from Sizzle’s Kitchen

Karen Christensen, the owner, is about to open up a coffee shop and market. Sizzle’s Express Coffee House will serve grab-and-go food along with coffee roasted in-house. In addition to the kitchens and coffee shop, there is also event space available.

Sizzle’s Kitchen is a commercial for rent kitchen with meeting and event space available. Culinary creators can rent out one of several kitchens along with cold and dry storage. Allowing them to make their products in a certified and fully equipped commercial space. Rentals can be by the hour or long term depending on needs.

Some local favorites are operating out of Sizzle’s Kitchen. Furnari Sausage, Chef Pam’s Bella Cuccina, Divalicious, Cask & Cleaver Charcuterie Co., Lulu’s Jams & Jellies, C&A Cheesecakes, Treat yourself LLC, Cuban Gals, Sage Treats, and more. That means the new Sizzle’s Coffee House Express will give all of us another way to enjoy these local food creators. Right in the space they create in!

For the Grand Opening of the Sizzle’s Express Coffee House, Karen is donating proceeds for the day to the World Central Kitchen.

We will be there to help celebrate and raise money, you can be too. The event is taking place Thursday, May 19th starting at 7:00 am until 4:00 pm. Stop by, enjoy some great food and help support an important organization.

The World Central Kitchen is a non-profit, non-government organization. They provide chef-prepared food in times of crisis all over the world using local chefs and volunteers.

Right now they are in Europe helping the Ukrainian people. After the Carr fire, their team was here in Redding working out of Sizzle’s kitchen along with our local chefs. Chef Jose Andres has been feeding people worldwide since 2010 and fundraisers like this do a lot to keep their efforts going.

If you can’t make it to the event, you can still support the World Central Kitchen. Follow this link to help.
